Face masks and coverings to be worn by all NHS hospital staff and visitors – Practice position

All staff in hospitals in England will be provided with surgical masks which they will be expected to wear from 15 June. All visitors and outpatients must wear face coverings at all times. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/face-masks-and-coverings-to-be-worn-by-all-nhs-hospital-staff-and-visitors

Marton Medical Practice position is that we expect ALL patients who are asked to attend the Practice to wear face coverings at all times. The Doctor or Nurse you are seeing may refuse to see you if you are not wearing one.

The Practice does NOT supply face coverings for patients.
We are aware that these may be available for purchase from the Pharmacy.

In line with government guidance there will be exceptions to the rule for very young children, disabled people and those with breathing difficulties.
